Privacy at Teqaniyah
Privacy Notice
How Teqaniyah handles project inquiries, website preferences, optional analytics, and privacy requests.
Who this notice covers
Teqaniyah (تقنية), based in Amman, Jordan, is responsible for the information collected through teqaniyah.com. This notice covers this company website, not the separate blood-donation application or a client product.
Project inquiries
You choose whether to contact us. The inquiry form asks for your name, email address, and project details so we can review your request and reply. Please do not include passwords, payment information, sensitive personal information, or unnecessary details about other people.
We send your inquiry through Resend to our contact inbox and use your email address as the reply address. This website does not create an account or save inquiries in an application database. Copies still exist in the email provider and inbox. Submitting this form does not subscribe you to marketing.
How long we keep information
We review inquiries monthly and delete them when their purpose is finished and no continuing lawful need remains. Inactive inquiries are deleted within six months of the last meaningful contact. This is a manual review policy, not an automated inbox deletion rule.
Necessary correspondence for active projects is reviewed annually and when the relationship ends. We keep only what is needed for the project or documented contractual or legal requirements. Any justified exception or preservation requirement is recorded rather than retaining all messages indefinitely.
Cleanup includes controllable inbox, sent-mail, forwarded, and exported copies. Processor backup copies follow the provider’s retention and deletion procedures; deletion from our inbox does not promise instant removal from every disaster-recovery backup.
Service providers and processing locations
Our hosting server and Cloudflare deliver and protect the website. They process technical request information such as IP addresses, requested URLs, and browser information. The contact service temporarily uses IP addresses for abuse prevention. Server access and error logs rotate daily, retaining fourteen rotated files plus current logs.
Resend delivers inquiry emails. Its current published disclosures state that email and log data on Free, Pro, and Scale plans is retained for thirty days, point-in-time backups for seven days, and stored data is held in the United States. A sending region is not the storage location. Inbox copies and any exports are separate from this provider retention.
Google Fonts supplies the website’s fonts, which involves requests to Google even when analytics is off. Optional Google Analytics processes visit information only when enabled. These providers may process information outside Jordan under their respective arrangements. Their privacy and processing information is linked below.
Browser storage, cookies, and optional analytics
We store your theme preference and analytics choice in your browser’s local storage until you change the preference or clear site data. These are settings, not project-inquiry contents.
Google Analytics is off until you enable it in the footer’s analytics preferences. The implementation respects Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. We do not send form contents as analytics events, and Google Signals and advertising-personalization signals are disabled in the site configuration.
When enabled, Google Analytics may use _ga and _ga_… cookies to distinguish visits. This site limits their configured lifetime to 180 days without renewing the expiry on each visit. You can keep analytics off or disable it again in the footer; the site then stops collection and clears its accessible analytics cookies. Provider-side analytics retention is separate from browser-cookie expiry.
Cloudflare may use security cookies when needed to protect the site. These are distinct from optional analytics and follow Cloudflare’s published cookie information.
Your questions and requests
Contact the privacy address below to ask about your information, request access or correction, request deletion, withdraw consent where relevant, or raise an objection or complaint. Include enough context to identify your inquiry, but do not email identity documents or sensitive information unless a proportionate verification method has been agreed.
We review requests according to applicable requirements. Some information may need to be retained for a documented legal or contractual reason; we will explain relevant limitations rather than promising unconditional deletion. You can also consult Jordan’s Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship for information about data-protection rights and complaints.
Security and changes to this notice
The site uses HTTPS, protected server credentials, input validation, rate limits, and restricted email-sending credentials. No system can guarantee absolute security. Do not use the public inquiry form to send secrets or sensitive records.
We update this notice when the website or our practices change and show the effective date above. Material changes to the purpose of processing require a review of the necessary notice and permissions; this page is not a substitute for those steps.
